Gomati Chakra resembles the Sudarshan Chakra or Lord Krishna discus. Gomati chakras is considered as one of the rare products and obtained from the Basin of Gomati River of Dwarka. Gomati Chakra are considered to epitomize or symbols of Goddess Lakshmi.

Gomati Chakras are used with Shaligrams in various rituals. Gomati Chakra Shilas are also used as protective kavach for children. Gomati shilas brings in wealth and good health. These are also called Cow's Eye Shila. Gomati Chakra shilas is considered as Eye of Lord Shiva.

Benefits of Gomati Chakra:

1. For food security- Eleven Gomati Chakras are wrapped in a red cloth and placed in rice or wheat containers. This is for food security. 

2. For Vastu Dosha- Some people bury Gomati Chakra in the foundation of buildings as it is believed to bless the residents with long life and prosperity.

3. For good luck- keeping even number of chakras in wallet or pocket.

4. For financial security - Using 11 Gomati chakras for the puja and apply turmeric on these. Worship Lord Shiva and tie all these Gomati shila in a yellow cloth. Take them all over the house and then throw them out in any river or lake.

5. For evil eye - Take 3 Gomati Chakra shilas, go to any barren ground, revolve these Gomati chakras over your head 7 times clockwise, then throw them off your back and do not look back if you are suffering from evil eye or nazar.

6. Get rid of black magic - On Wednesday morning take eight Gomati Chakras, rotate two Gomati Chakras around your head and throw them in one direction. Similarly with other Gomati Chakras and throw them in all four directions.

7. For academic success- On Friday morning, wash Gomati Chakra pendant with ganga jal to purify and chant Saraswati mantra 108 times and put the pendant in neck of your child, this will help them to improve studies and will increase their concentration level.
